Project Objectives

• Identify agricultural products produced in Texas
• Develop knowledge of industry, nutrition, preparation, and production

Project Activities

• Various game formats during meetings include mock contests to test knowledge of Texas agriculture in preparation for upcoming competitions.

Competitions

• Teams participate in groups of 3-4
• Contest consists of 20 agricultural products grown in Texas. Participants are allowed 30 seconds at each station
• Competition Tasks Include:
  • Correctly identify each product given four possibilities
  • Answer one multiple choice question in correlation to the given product
  • Participant receives 5 pts if product is correctly identified and an additional 5 pts if multiple choice question was answered correctly
